Since 1990, F.O.S.C.C.P has worked to preserve the superb and diverse ecosystems of this 800 hectare park through weeding, planting and bird monitoring.
As well as their lovely informative website, they also offer a local bird brochure (list, photos), contoured walking map, park history booklet, regular meetings, biannual walks and Bandicoot Tails newsletter (activities and contact details at its end). Visitors, new members and any help very welcome.
The friendly group willingly shares offers information and examples of inspiring regeneration.

The brigade has some 40 local residents who volunteer to protect the neighbourhood at times of need. About half serve as active firefighters with the remainder supporting their operations.
The brigade conducts fire prevention education and assists the formation of neighbourhood Firesafe groups to increase community knowledge, preparation and support, and holds some social and fund-raising events.
Training is 7pm Monday nights except public holidays (when the station's siren is also tested) and an occasional Sunday morning during the fire season.
More volunteers are always needed and inquiries are welcome.

An excellent community facility that enables residents of Scott Creek, Bradbury and Longwood to share and discuss locally relevant information such as classifieds, coming events, lost animals or other concerns.

Hosted by the Primary School weekly during term time and a member of Playgroup SA, it enables young children and their parents to meet together locally for enjoyable shared activities and morning tea, as well as familiarising children with the school.

This active group is successfully recovering, preserving and sharing local history, with support from the Adelaide Mt Lofty Districts Historical Society. It welcomes more participants, your interest and relevant historical information.

Following amalgamation in 1990, this successful family and community-orientated club fields 3 Senior and 2 Junior teams and regularly uses the Scott Creek oval. New players, supporters and spectators welcome.
