Bradbury CFS

The brigade has some 40 local residents who volunteer to protect the neighbourhood at times of need. About half serve as active firefighters with the remainder supporting their operations.

The brigade conducts fire prevention education and assists the formation of neighbourhood Firesafe groups to increase community knowledge, preparation and support, and holds some social and fund-raising events.

Training is 7pm Monday nights except public holidays (when the station's siren is also tested) and an occasional Sunday morning during the fire season.

More volunteers are always needed and inquiries are welcome.
